Boating Accident Reconstruction
Bob Swint, the founder and CEO of ATA began his consulting and accident reconstruction career in the pleasure boating arena. He went on to become one of the leading experts in the country in pleasure boat and watercraft accident reconstruction. He has served as a member of the National Association of Boating Law Administrators (NASBLA), American Boating and Yachting Council (ABYC) and The National Boating Safety Council.
In addition to Mr. Swint, ATA has associations with several of the nation's leading boating experts including Dr. Robert Warren, a leading boating accident reconstructionist.
ATA staff engineers and technicians have developed techniques for instrumentation, photography and position tracking that support precise and definitive analysis of test data and provide for convincing testimony to support litigation actions.
Pleasure craft dynamics and operating characteristics, occupant ejection, boat porpoising, boat control systems, stick-steer issues, propeller guards, fuel systems and carbon monoxide poisoning in house boats are but a few examples of the issues we have addressed.
